Police in Wilmington were asking local residents to stay indoors this (Wednesday) morning while police searched the Northcreat area for a man beleived to have bveen involved with a car-jacking.The suspect was beleived to be armed and dangerous.  Officers searched the area after another suspect was taken into custody after a police chase from suburban Dolton thru southern suburbs, ending in Wilmington around 6 am.

Wilmington Police Chief Philip Arnold said the men are suspects in an armed robbery.  One suspect was in custody.  The suspect at-large is a 6-foot African American male with a light-brown complexion wearing a white shirt and blue jeans.
