Two parolees, seemingly, blew the horn on each other and are now jailed in Iroquois County. Sheriff’s Police report the arrests of both men after a series of altercations this week. The two were apparently involved in their own scuffle last weekend at a Thawville residence. The men had argued earlier and then they confronted each other at a residence in the 200-block of E. Main Street where one of the men was shot in the hand.
Sheriff’s Police report 42 yr old Neil McClanahan was shot when he struggled with 32-yr-old Kevin Murry. That was Sunday.Then….police were called to another incident between the men Monday, learning that McClanahan had his driver’s license revoked. A gun and cocaine surfaced in the investigation. The Department of Corrections stepped in because both Murry and McClanahan were on parole.
Felony charges resulted from parole violations in Kankakee and Will counties.
