A truck driver is dead following a fiery crash on I-55 near Wilmington. Illinois State Police say the wreck happened yesterday when a semi trailer rear-ended a pickup truck near Lorenzo Road. The impact caused a chain-reaction crash involving another semi and two other vehicles. The driver of the semi that caused the crash was pronounced dead at the scene. The person driving the pickup was hospitalized with serious injuries.
