A third bat has tested positive for rabies in Will County this year. The bat was found in Homer Glen on July 19th (last Friday). The Will County Health Department urges citizens to report any bat that is discovered to Animal Control.
There were 19 rabid bats confirmed in Will County in 2018. This is the third confirmed case so far this year.
