Tornado Clean-up Continues in Kankakee County

                     Clean-Up Efforts Continue after Storm

Several church groups and the United Way of Kankakee and Iroquois Counties are helping coordinate efforts to clean up from last week’s Tornado in Kankakee County.
Volunteer help is welcome. Info on how to help is available online at myunitedway.org/volunteer. The United Way hotline is 815-932-7476.
Volunteer efforts are being coordinated through the Kankakee County Emergency Management Agency, the Kankakee County Board, and United Way.


                   Multi-Agency Resource Center assists Tornado victims

Kankakee County’s Emergency Operations Center (EOC) was open and active over the weekend. The EOC had several agency representatives involved in providing help to storm victims.
A Multi-Agency Resource Center is also set up at the Aroma Park Methodist Church. Hours today (Monday) are from 10 am ‘til 7 pm. Tuesday hours are 8 am ‘til 7 pm.
