Sophomore Alyssa Ross is committing back to KCC Women’s Basketball after overcoming a redshirt injury this past season. Ross was the leading scorer as a freshman.

An on-card autographed 1997-98 Upper Deck Game Jersey Michael Jordan card, with a jersey swatch embedded from the 1992 NBA All-Star Game, has sold privately via Goldin Auctions for $4.25 million.

Toledo is set to hire Illinois Chief Commercial Officer Tom Moreland as the school’s next athletic director. The hire is pending board approval. Moreland brings strong experience in the fundraising and revenue space at Illinois, Purdue and Iowa.

Barring any last minute changes, Illini women's basketball is set to return its ENTIRE rotation from the 2025-26 season. Illinois had eight players average 12+ minutes. None of that group graduated and none have announced plans to enter the portal - which closed on Monday.

Billy Donovan stepped down as head coach of the Chicago Bulls. He exits with 226-256 mark after six seasons, the third-longest tenured coach in franchise history behind Phil Jackson (9) and Dick Motta (8). Donovan and ownership had extensive dialogue over past week and didn't come to decision lightly.

INDYCAR had a Push to Pass software failure on Lap 62 restart that left the system available to all drivers when it should be disabled prior to passing the alternate start-finish line on the first lap. 12 drivers used it but INDYCAR Officiating does not view it as an infraction as the error was on their end.

Abel Motorsports confirms Jacob Abel will pilot its one-off No. 51 entry in next month’s Indianapolis 500.

The Independent Officiating Board of INDYCAR Officiating has named Scot Elkins as managing director of officiating. Elkins brings more than 25 years of experience, including INDYCAR, FIA Formula E, FIA Formula One, NASCAR and IMSA.
