Illinois State Police investigated an incident this (Monday) on I-57 that left a person dead at the scene. It involved a pedestrian and semi-tractor trailer on Interstate 57 in Kankakee County.  Traffic was disrupted in the southbound lane around 8:45 am at the 308 mile marker.
