A Winter Weather Advisory is in place thru Noon Saturday for the  listening area.  Snow, Strong winds, rain are making travel hazardous in east-central Illinois and central and northwest Indiana.  Many school districts and other organizations have altered their plansfor the day.  A list of cancellations are posted on the WGFA Radio website....check thye cancellation link.

The NWS cautions drivers about slick roads, icy bridge decks, snow accumulations, and winds reaching 50 mph.  Plan on slippery road conditions. Patchy blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches.
