An undercover drug investigation Wednesday led to the arrest of a 57-year-old Iroquois resident. The Watseka Enforcement Team conducted a short investigation arresting Paige "Sam" Chambers. He's facing charges of Delivery and Possession of a Controlled Substance, Unlawful possession of a weapon by a Felon, Possession of drug equipment, Obstructing Justice, and a traffic offense of driving with a suspended license.
Authorities also report Chambers was indicted by the Iroquois County Grand Jury for 3- felony counts of Intent to Deliver Meth. Provisions of the SAFE-T Act in Illinois allowed Chambers to be released.
The Watseka Enfocrement Team began its narcotic investigation last November.
