A fresh snowfall is accumulation fast this (Thursday) morning. IDOT trucks are out along with county and municipal plows.  Motorists need to allow extra room for those plows to get around. Several area routes are snow covered and slick.  Drivers need to slow down, be aware of changing conditions, buckle up and keep those headlights so you're visible.School bus routes may be slower than usual.  More snow...up to 4 inches is likely tonight.
