Motorists need to slow down, be aware of changing road conditions as snow has started to accumulate. A Special Weather Statement has been issued. The NWS has the advisory in place with the Friday forecast calling for 1-3 or four inches of snow.

Snow will fall from this morning through this afternoon. With temperatures below freezing some roads and bridge decks will become quite slick. Snow plows are treating roads to stay ahead of the messy conditions. Drivers should give the plows extra room. Keep the headlights on low beam and buckle up !
