Cullom man pleads not guilty to killing wife, son and neighbor on Christmas Day

The Cullom man accused of killing his wife, son and neighbor pleaded not guilty Thursday. 53-year-old Clifford Brewer appeared in Livingston County court for the first time since his arrest on Christmas Day. He’s charged with six counts of first-degree murder.

Brewer is jailed on a half-million dollars bond. He is accused of shooting his 48-year-old wife, Shirley, his son, 27-year-old Christian, and a neighbor, 51-year-old Norman Walker. All three were all found in Brewer’s home with a single gunshot wound to the head.

Livingston County State’s Attorney Randy Yedinak has not discussed any motive.
