Iroquois County: Suspect now named in double homicide case

A suspect is now named in connection to a double homicide in Iroquois County.

The Sheriff’s Office issued a warrant for 43-year-old Matthew Borden of Melvin (IL). Borden is currently facing two counts of First-Degree Murder. Bond has been set at $2-million dollars.
Borden is also wanted by the United States Marshals Service for a probation violation. The sheriff’s office says throughout both homicide investigations, Borden was identified as a person of interest.

The homicide investigations include the murders of 54-year-old Pamela Williams of Martinton and 50-year-old Brian Musk of Milford. The body of Williams was found along a roadside ditch southwest of Sheldon Friday morning. Musk was discovered dead Saturday morning in an apartment on the grounds of Milford Auto Parts.
