Miss Brianne Miller of Martinton and Evie Ellis of Paxton are among Illinois’ County Fair Queens competing in Springfield this weekend for the Illinois State Fair Queen title – and the right to reign at the Illinois State Fair and Du Quoin Fair this summer.

Brianne is the reigning Iroquois County Fair Queen. Evie is the Ford County Queen.

The Illinois Association of Agricultural Fairs State competition is at the Crown Plaza Convention Center in Springfield.

Area Talent Show winners also compete.

Anna Parmenter of Watseka is Iroquois County’s Senior winner from last summer’s fair. Her Piano Solo will be part of the state competition.

The Junior Dance Team --- Elite Energy --- also represents Iroquois County; first place winner is the Iroquois County Fair in 2019. The dancers represent Beaverville, Donovan, Milford, Watseka and Danforth.
