American Legion Red Poppy Sales

American Legion Red Poppy Sales

The community is invited to support the Watseka American Legion – Post 23 with their annual Red Poppy Flower Sale. The Red Poppy is the symbol of remembrance for the American Legion and is used to honor military personnel, both living and deceased, and the sacrifices they have made for the nation. The Red Poppy is a symbol of the blood shed by soldiers, and the resilient way they bloom on battlefields even in the face of destruction and hardship.
