Watseka Police Chief Roger Lebeck is announcing his pending retirement, effective January 11th. Lebeck has served the city police department as chief for the last 11 years. He'll end 27 years in law enforcement.

Mayor Bob Harwood says an interim chief will likely be named as the search for a new leader will get underway.
