Kankakee County Sheriff's Police are investigating an apparent homicide. A 49-year-old man was found dead inside his home Tuesday night.

49-year-old Theodore Rockwood was shot several times. He was discovered in his Shannon Shores home after his daughter became worried, according to Kankakee County Coroner Bob Gessner.

Shannon Shores is a resort community located four miles north of Reddick. He was pronounced dead just before midnight. An autopsy was scheduled for today.
