43-year-old Daniel Builta of Rensselaer, IN was pronounced dead after a traffic accident Tuesday afternoon.  Jasper County Sheriff's Police responded to a single-vehicle crash at County Road 1050 N and U.S 231.  Deputies reported the victim's car left the road, hit an embankment and went airborne.  The car landed on its top and became engulfed in flames.  Police reported witnesses were unable to remove Builta from the vehicle.  The accident happened around 4 pm southeast of Demotte.
