After the snowy weekend, temperatures in Central Illinois are expected to slowly rise this week. The high could be near 60 degrees on Thanksgiving Day.
The National Weather Service reports today (Monday) will be sunny with a high of 39 degrees and Tuesday calls for mostly sunny with a high near 43 degrees. There may be some fog due to the snow and climbing temperatures. Overnight lows will be around 25 degrees.
Wednesday's forecast is partly sunny and a high of 48 degrees. The chance of showers rolls in Thanksgiving Day with a high near 58 degrees.
The temperature will drop to about 44 degrees overnight.
Friday's high will be near 48 degrees with a chance of showers. A chance of rain or snow could arrive Friday night.
