Two people were seriously injured, five in all were shot when shots were fired early Sunday at a Kankakee banquet hall.  Kankakee Police reported they responded to Guzman's Sports Banquet Hall shortly before 1 am. 

Several witnesses were interviewed but none offered any information to police investigators.  The Daily-Journal reports up to 100 people attended the party that was supposed to be a family reunion, according to the banquet hall management. It was learned it was instead, a well-planned party featuring Chicago area entertainers.  The event featured advanced ticket sales.
