"We hope it continues and then the solar farm developments offer even more good-paying jobs," Nugent said. "The hope is that solar farms get built, adding more to the economy."

The job growth numbers show Kankakee has been number #1 in 2017 and 2018. CSL Behring’s expansion project is the largest pharmaceutical expansion in the world.
