Election Day in Indiana, turnout is low

Voters in Indiana today are electing more than 200 mayors, clerks, clerk-treasurers, judges and municipal council members.  Turnout is low and state officials are not expecting big numbers, even though early balloting more than doubled over the last week in certain areas, including Lake and Porter counties.

Rensselaer, Cedar Lake, St. John, Crown Point, Frankfort and Ft Wayne all have local issues on the ballot.  Indianapolis is electing a new mayor.

Polls are open from 6 am 'til 6 pm.
