An attempted abduction of three juvenile females in Goodwine Thursday is under investigation by the Iroquois County Sheriff's department.  The three juveniles, ages 11, 7 and 6, were walking near the post office just after 2 pm when the incident occurred.

Police report a white van with tinted windows pulled up next to them.  The driver opened a side door and asked the girls to get inside.  The girls ran to their home and informed  a parent.  The van headed north out of Goodwine.  The driver was described as a young, white male wearing a dark-colored T-shirt, blue jeans and boots with short dark hair.  Anyone with info is asked to contact authorities.
