35-year-old Kimberly Allen of Buckley is looking at an 8-year prison term when she’s sentenced in September. She pleaded guilty (Tuesday) in Champaign Circuit Court, admitting she wrote 38 checks on the account of a vendor she fabricated.

The business, where she had worked, lost $144,568.

Co-defendant Adam Hall of Gilman was sentenced to just under five years for his part in the crime.
