Sheriff VanVleet is proud to announce the addition of Jesse Wallace to the Newton County Sheriff’s Office patrol staff. Wallace recently returned to the area after serving in the US Marine Corps. He comes from a law enforcement family, being a 3rd generation police officer. He began his service with Newton County on August 14th.

On August 24th Wallace affirmed his oath and was sworn-in by Newton County Superior Court Judge, Daniel J. Molter. Wallace is currently working in the Sheriff’s Office FTO (Field Training Officer) program.
