A two-day investigation of illegal drug sales and production of narcotics in Watseka led to four arrests.

The Watseka Police Enforcement Team, in cooperation with the Iroquois County Sheriff’s Department and State’s Attorney’s Office, carried out arrest warrants. All four were jailed in Watseka. The investigation continues.

30-year-old Octavio Alejandre, 41-year-old Patrick Laird, 39-year-old Tyson Gass and 34-year-old Crystal Cavazos were all taken into custody. All four are from Watseka.

Charges include possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, unlawful meth conspiracy, possession of meth, and meth production. Gass was also wanted on warrants in Iroquois County and in Indiana. Cavazos was wanted on a warrant for delivery of a controlled substance.
