Iroquois 9-1-1 Board in need of leadership

The loss of Coordinator Nita Dubble’s experience in the emergency dispatch center may be compensated with professional and qualified tele-communicators. But the management level on the ETSB Board is in question.

Two experienced 9-1-1 professionals also resigned from the ETSB Board since Dubble’s announced retirement.

Ryan Brault and Vern Grohler stepped aside in the last week. Both were veterans in the emergency communications field. The absence of people in the know has other emergency responders wondering what’s next ?

Frustration has settled in with emergency responders... including fire & police personnel, EMS, and the public. Many have voiced concern and still asking ‘why all the experienced past-members of the 9-1-1 board were eliminated ?”

County Board actions in recent years eliminated experienced firemen and police officers from overseeing 9-1-1 operations. Now, emergency responders wait to see what steps are next in the best interests of public safety.
