An Indiana woman was a killed (Saturday) in a single-vehicle motorcycle crash near Lake Village, IN. 54-year-old Tammy Johnson was a passenger on a Harley-Davidson driven by 56-yr-old man Richard Neese of Wilmington (IL), according to Newton County Sheriff’s Police.

Emergency responders answered the call just before 4:30 pm on State Road 10 near 1050 N. Police reported alcohol was not believed to be a factor in the crash.

The Harley driver was westbound (SR 10) when the bike left the roadway. The female passenger was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver was in critical condition at Riverside Medical Center.
