The Watseka Fire Department was alerted to a garage fire in the 500-block of E. Mulberry Street Thursday night. No injury was reported. The cause is being investigated, according to Fire Chief Dave Mayotte.

Mayotte reported the older, all-wood garage was engulfed in flames when firemen arrived just after 8 pm. There was heat damage to the rear of the house and a neighbor’s house.
