Four Watseka area residents face drug charges after the U.S. government became involved in a drug investigation. A search warrant issued Wednesday resulted in the arrests of the four suspects and more arrests are likely, according to police. All four are facing possession and possession with intent to deliver charges.
24-year-old Eric Norder, 27-year-old Nicholas Norder, 26-year-old James Ward and 22-year- McKinze Fahey were all jailed in Iroquois County.
The Watseka Enforcement Team, with cooperation from the Iroquois County Sheriff’s department and State’s Attorney’s Office, KAMEG and the U.S. Postal Inspector investigated a report of the possession and distribution of narcotics in the Watseka area.
A search warrant was executed early Wednesday afternoon. Authorities located cannabis, 129 grams of psilocybin-mushrooms, vials of liquid THC and other drug paraphernalia. Also seized was $11-hundred dollars cash.
