The Dwight Police Department is investigating a theft from a motor vehicle.

The theft occurred during the overnight hours November 28th in the 300-block of Spencer Street. A 54-year-old Dwight male said that his medication, drums, band stands and microphones were stolen.

The police department said no forced entry was made and the total amount of items stolen was $4,500.

Police in Morocco, IN advise citizens to be aware that a series of auto break-ins occurred in the last few days. Miscellaneous items, including loose change and other personal items were reported stolen.
