Kankakee juvenile faces felony charge for bomb threat

A bomb threat made November 10th to the Bradley Wal-Mart Store now finds a Kankakee juvenile facing a felony offense.

Several police agencies responded, forcing an evacuation of the store. Bradley Police said the juvenile admitted to the incident --- that was “just prank calling the police.”

The youth now faces a felony offense based on the false 9-1-1 call to police and the bomb threat.

Bradley Police received a 9-1-1 call from the unidentified subject who advised he was going to blow up the store. He allegedly told the Dispatch Center thwy would “blow up everyone who moves” and that they were in the bathroom and they had a gun. Admitting to the crime, the juvenile told detectives the threat was made from his cellphone.
