Authorities have identified the victims of an early morning house fire in rural Dixon that left two adults and four children from one family dead.

The Ogle County Sheriff's Department identified the victims as 39-year-old Timothy Shaw, 37-year-old Melissa Shaw, 17-year-old Ethan Shaw, 15-year-old LeAnne Shaw, 12-year-old Hailey Shaw and 11-year-old Dylan Shaw.

Autopsies conducted Tuesday determined the victims died from smoke inhalation.

Ogle County Sheriff Brian VanVickle says the roof of the home collapsed and there wasn't much of the residence remaining after firefighters put out the blaze. Authorities say an initial investigation by the sheriff's department and the State Fire Marshal does not indicate foul play.
