Winter weather advisory issued for Monday

Central Illinois counties are included in a winter weather advisory. The National Weather Service issued the advisory for Iroquois and Ford counties until 4 am Monday. Overnight snow showers Sunday could leave the Monday morning commute slick and visibility could be reduced.

Champaign, Vermilion, DeWitt, Piatt and Macon counties were added to the advisory Sunday night. The later advisory included a time range from from 1 a.m. to 7 a.m. Monday.

Two to four inches of snow are possible across Central Illinois.
