The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) reports there will be a nighttime lane closure on I-65 in Newton County, two miles north of State Road 10, near the Kankakee rest area. The closure will start at 6 p.m. tonight and will run through 6 a.m. tomorrow morning. During the project, the northbound right lane will be closed. Industrial & Environmental Services crews requested this closure to remove contaminated soil from a truck accident/spill and replace with fresh fill dirt.
