Vermilion County area motorists experienced slick roads Thursday, leading to several accidents. 21-year-old Levi Stebbins of Rossville was treated at a Danville hospital after crashing his vehicle along Illinois Route 1.

Sheriff’s Police reported Stebbins was south of Mann’s Chapel Road around 5 am when his vehicle left the highway, ran into a ditch and rolled. The vehicle came to rest upright.

In another crash, a 21-year-old man from Danville was treated at a hospital after running his car into a ditch about 4 am.

Several vehicles slide-offs were investigated in Vermilion and Champaign counties. Many of them were along I-74 and I-57.

State Police and county deputies were also busy in Indiana.
