A Pembroke Township murder-suspect is awaiting extradition back to Kankakee to face charges for the shooting death of a Hopkins Park man. 55-year-old James Beals was arrested in Benton Harbor, Michigan last week.

Beals is charged with the October 2016 murder of 46-year-old Ralph Ledet. He was found shot several times alongside a township road.

The following day, investigators found the bodies of three other men inside a home at 15500 E Road. Ledet also lived at the home.
