A head-on crash Sunday killed an Aroma Park woman. Three other people were hurt in the accident on Illinois Route 113 near Tower Road in Kankakee.

34-year-old Bridgit Bruen was dead at 5:40 pm. at the scene of the crash. Kankakee County Coroner Bob Gessner said Bruen had three passengers.

A 13-year-old was airlifted. A young baby and a male passenger were transported to Riverside Medical Center.
Emergency personnel said Bruen was southbound when she crossed into the northbound lane and hit a van head-on. The driver of the van was not injured.

An autopsy is scheduled. Illinois State Police are investigating.
