Stephanie Young has been named the new director of the VA Illiana Health Care System. She assumed the position effective Sunday (June 12)

Ms. Young was serving as Acting Medical Director of the VA in Danville. She had been the Associate Director for the Aleda E. Lutz VA in Saginaw, Michigan since 2010.

The Danville VA Illiana Health Care System includes a 398-bed hospital and a 223-bed Community Center, as well as five outpatient clinics. Young will be overseeing the delivery of healthcare to more than 150-thousand Veterans and will be responsible for nearly 1500 VA personnel.
