Kankakee Police investigated a Sunday night shooting. A man was shot and treated for an injury at Presence St. Mary’s Hospital.

Police were called to the 300-block of N. Sixth Avenue about 10 pm. The victim, who was not identified, drove himself to the hospital.

Police did recover several spent casings from a .45 caliber handgun.
