The federal tax evasion trial of former Illinois Congressman Mel Reynolds is now on hold. The ex-lawmaker is behind bars at the Kankakee County Jail. He told the court Tuesday that he's not able to prepare his case on the facility's outdated computer. Reynolds also claimed that he had very little time in the law library because he's on 23-hour lockdown.
The presiding judge ruled that the trial date of June 20 will change when the judge handling the case returns from vacation.
