Hansen’s locates in new Bradley headquarters

Owners Jeff & Julie welcome your visit .....

A new location means more visibility. And that, hopefully means, means new business too.

Hansen’s Window Coverings & Upholstery is going through growing pains. But owners Jeff & Julie Lambert know the new location for their business leads to greater visibility and more business opportunity.

The business has made a move from its more than 30-year location on N. Washington Avenue in Bradley to its new home at 235 N. Kinzie Avenue. A new showroom, in a new location, with the same friendly smiles to satisfy customer needs can only mean many more years of good business.

The 8,500 square foot property site called home is less than the 12,000 square foot space once occupied next to Peddinghaus in Bradley, but the family business specializing in custom drapery installation, shutters and blinds now has greater visibility in a high-traffic area. The new showroom with all the features will be all-go by mid-October.

Jeff says “it’s a great move from a warehouse setting to a legitimate showroom.” He says the showroom setting means good news for that customer-experience – that’s a leg up over the big-box experience at other sites.

The showroom setting offers a home-like environment...customers can move to the sewing and production room to real home-like settings right on the showroom.

The new, great location is right on Illinois Route 50, just south of the North Street intersection.

The business started in 1984, Julie’s father, Harry and brother, Jeff installed blinds. Today, Hansen’s services residential and commercial customers. And the business is opular not only in Kankan and Iroquois County, but also in the Chicago-land suburbs, including northwest Indiana.

There’s also a 2,000 square foot showroom in Mokena. Clients include hospitals, school districts, housing and business developments.

And Jeff & Julie, and their 15 employees welcome your business too.
