Watseka man arrested by KAMEG for drugs & weapons

Forty-nine year-old James J. Ward of Watseka is facing charges after KAMEG agents executed a search warrant at this rural home.  Ward is charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.  He was also charged with unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon and no valid FOID card.

KAMEG agents, asssited by District 21 Illinois State Police and the Iroquois County Sheriff's Department, executed a warrant at 1997 N and 1950 E Road, locating about 27 grams of suspected cocaine, about 12 grams of suspected cannabis, six firearms, ammunition and drug paraphernalia.
