Emergency responder injured at crash scene in White County

At least two people were injured after an ambulance was hit while on the scene of a crash on I-65 Tuesday morning.
Sargent Kim Riley with Indiana State Police said the original accident happened when a car failed to see a slowed semi and crashed.

An ambulance was dispatched and arrived on the scene of the accident to tend to minor injuries. While parked on location of the crash, a second semi collided with the ambulance causing significant damage to the vehicle.
One of the emergency responder was transported to a hospital with unknown injuries. The driver of the car suffered minor injuries.
