IMH MOURNS THE PASSING OF MAGGIE MARTIN

Watseka, IL - IMH recently learned of the passing Maggie Martin long-time volunteer, lifetime member of the IMH Auxiliary, former chair of the IMH Development Council, previous member of the IMH Board of Trustees.

“Maggie Martin’s dedication to Iroquois Memorial had an enormous impact on IMH as both the chair of the IMH Development Council and later as a member of the IMH
Board of Trustees. She brought a wealth of experience to the Board and a deep desire to see IMH continue to grow.” said Tim Smith, IMH President/CEO.

Maggie served as Chairperson of IMH Development Council from 1991 to 2006. During her tenure as Development Council Chair over $5 million had been generously gifted
from area residents and businesses to support the growth of Iroquois Memorial. Projects included construction of the Outpatient Center, the IMH Kentland Clinic, a new Ambulance Entrance, Patient Elevator and Helipad, and construction of the Surgery Center.

She served on the IMH Board of Trustees from 2003 to 2014. During that period the IMH Board of Trustees approved the Iroquois Regional Health Center, the new IMH Milford Clinic, and a remodel of the Iroquois Resident Home.
