Judge Lustfeldt also set bond at $100,000 for Lisa Bitzel, who's facing a charge of aggravated domestic battery. She's alleged to have stabbed her boyfriend several times early Sunday morning. She was arrested Monday by Iroquois County Sheriff's Police.

State's Attorney Jim Devine said Bitzel claimed it was self defense. But she had no visible injuries while the victim, 61-year-old Steve Hofbauer of Rankin, was stabbed repeatedly about his body. He was taken by ambulance to Carle Hospital in Urbana.

The incident happened near Hoopeston, in Iroquois County at 095N and 1700E Road. Deputies responded to a 911 call from Hofbauer saying he'd been stabbed by his girlfriend. Officers found Hofbauer bleeding from multiple stab wounds. He was in his vehicle in the driveway. Bitzel was taken into custody without incident.
