The National Weather Service confirmed a tornado touched down in Greene County during Monday’s severe storms. A video was shared on social media showing a tornado on the ground near the town of Wrights around 2:45 p.m. Debris was observed being thrown into the air near a spiral that rumbled across a farm. No injuries were reported.

There was also a report of a tornado in LaSalle County.  The Chicago-land area was hard hit,  Power lines and trees were down.  No injuries.  The White Sox - Houston ALDS game at Guaranteed Rate Park was postponed until today (Tuesday).
