$3 million bond for man accused in shooting death of his mother

The Daily-Journal reports bond was set at $3 million for a Kankakee man arrested in the November 11 slaying of his mother.  27-yr-old Devail A. Bryant is charged with four counts of 1st-degree murder. Bryant is accused of shooting 46-year-old Tomina D. Green in her Kankakee home.

Police said Bryant walked into the Kankakee Police Department and turned himself in, telling authorities what happened. Police said they recovered a handgun from the vehicle. Officers then went to his mother’s residence and found Green with a gunshot wound to the head.

The D-J reported circumstances surrounding the incident have not yet been released.
