COVID-19 cases climb in Kankakee County >

The Kankakee County Public Health Department is reporting an increase in the number of coronavirus cases in the county. There’s now 18, 649 total COVID-19 cases, according to health department administrator John Bevis. There was an increase of 147 cases over the past weekend. Bevis said that doubles the numbers from last week.  Thirty six percent (53 individuals) are under age 18. There’s been 280 deaths all-told.

5-11 yr-olds can schedule a vaccine by appointment only. Details are on the department website.
