Area residents and businesses are involved in clean-up of debris from over the weekend from Friday night’s severe storms. Tree limbs are what most are busy picking up. No injuries have been reported.

Utility crews are replacing power poles in Vermilion County and in west-central Indiana communities. Power outages plague several towns.  Some farm sheds were collapsed. Some damage also to homes. A few large trees were also uprooted.

Reports of semi-trailers overturned in the Chebanse area of Iroquois County. No other confirmed damage reports have been submitted.
